CAIRO - ASWAN – WITH A CRUISE - 7 Days - 6 Nights

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Cairo
Arrival in Cairo international airport, transfer to hotel by A. C. Van or bus, welcome soft drink, check in & overnight at a hotel in Cairo. 

Day 2: Cairo Explorer

Breakfast, check out, start a full day tour to visit the Egyptian Museum , which contains the fabulous treasures of Tutankhamen. Lunch, and then continue with the visit to the Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, and Valley Temple . You could perhaps take the tour by camel or on horse back. Visit the Great pyramid of Cheops for a tour of its interior, visit the Papyrus Institutes, Perfume shop, in the evening transfer to Cairo Railways for sleeping train to Aswan , dinner & overnight aboard.

Day 03: Cairo - Aswan

Arrival Aswan Railways station, embarkation to the Nile cruise. Start by visiting the Aswan High Dam and the Philae temple, with a stop for lunch, back to the cruise, dinner & overnight.

Day 04: Nile Cruise

After breakfast, visit Edfu, the Temple of Horus lunch, visiting Kom Ombo, shared by the two Gods Sobek & Haroeris back to the cruise, dinner & overnight.

Day 05: Nile Cruise

Breakfast, visiting Karnak Temple the largest religious complex in the world, and the Temple of Luxor with its elegant colonnaded hall, Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, lunch, visiting the Valley of Kings & Queens, back to the cruise dinner & over night.

Day 06: Luxor - Cairo

Breakfast, free time in Luxor , lunch, transfer to Luxor Railways station for sleeping train to Cairo dinner & overnight.

Day 07: Cairo

Arrive at Cairo railways station. Start a day tour of Old Cairo area, Citadel of Saladin built in A. D 1176. Including the Alabaster Mosque & Jawhara Palace , on the afternoon we visit The Hanging Church dating back to the late 04 th century then onto the frenetic and exciting Khan el Khalili Bazaar with its shopping and crowds dating back to the 14 th century and still active today. Here you will have lunch in a typical Egyptian restaurant then your guide will take you through this exciting and frenzied bazaar where you can see typical day-to-day life in old Cairo and shop for unique souvenirs, transfer to International Cairo airport for departure.
