ACCOMMODATION IN MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
MARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE
The Mara Serena Lodge has a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape. It is on this terrain where the great annual migrations take place.... when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the landscape to feed on the rich new grass and give birth to their young. Set on a high ridge, Mara Serena is a modern incarnation of a traditional African village of domed huts. The 74 Ivory Class huts are constructed to allow each room have a relatively uninterrupted view of the landscape. An interpretation of a traditional Masai Manyatta village of domed huts, Mara Serena Safari Lodge is set on the saddle of a hill where it overlooks the 1,800 square kilometers of rolling plains, woodlands and rivers that make up the Masai Mara Triangle - one of the world's richest wildlife sanctuaries.

KEEKOROK LODGE
At the southern end of this 1,510 sq. kms paradise and right in the path of the annual migration of wildebeests and zebras, lies Keekorok lodge. There's always plenty of activity around the waterhole but during the migration, the lodge enveloped by the swarming mass of animals. One need hardly venture from the ground to game view. From the verandah and from Kiboko Bar at the end of the raised 300 m. walkway, there is plenty to see. Accommodation at Keekorok is in bungalows, single storey blocks and in comfortable shaded chalets. The liberal use of cedar wood, pink and grey Sand River stone and other indigenous building materials offset the green lawns and colourful bougainvillea.
