SHORT SAFARIS FROM NAIROBI

3 HRS NAIROBI CITY TOUR
Take a three-hour scenic tour of the city centre, which includes a view of the central business district, parliament building, the national museum, the Nairobi snake park as well as the Kenyatta international conference centre. One can sample local cuisine right at the heart of the city.

4 HRS NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
Visit the unique Nairobi National Park, located only a few kilometers from the city center. It is unique in the sense that it is the only protected area in the world with a variety of animals and birds close to a capital city. Guests will have a chance to spot all ‘the big five’ with the exception of the elephant. The park features 46 square miles of pristine savanna with a combination of vast flora and fauna.

4 HRS KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM & GIRAFFE CENTRE
The tour takes you to the Karen Blixen Museum situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills. This museum was originally the home of Karen Blixen of the renowned ‘Out of Africa’. This tour combines well with a visit to the Giraffe Center, an educational centre and part of African Fund for Endangered Wildlife conservations. The park contains a small herd of endangered Rothschild’s Giraffe and guests do have a chance to feed them.

3 HRS THE CARNIVORE EXPERIENCE
The Carnivore experience, known as "Africa's greatest Eating Experience", is a ‘must-do’ for anyone visiting Nairobi. The restaurant is known for its wide variety of game meat as well as the famous African cocktail, popularly known as "Dawa". The garnish of music and entertainment gives you a haven serene environment.

DAPHNE SHELDRICK’S ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE -CARNIVORE -NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
Take a half-hour drive to Daphne Sheldrick, home to orphaned elephants. After spending time with the elephants, drive to the nearby Carnivore Restaurant for a sumptuous lunch. The afternoon is spent at the Nairobi National Park.

DAY TRIP TO LAKE NAKURU LODGE
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, stopping to marvel at the views of the escarpment along the way (at view point). Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park for mid-morning game drive. Proceed for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge/Lion Hill Lodge. Another short game drive as you get out of the park with a visit at Lake Naivasha enroute to Nairobi. The Park is most spectacular with wildlife sights of colourful pink flamingos as far as the eye can see. Among the wildlife to be seen are: Black Rhino, Lions, antelopes and for sure this is a bird paradise. Drive back to Nairobi to arrive in the evening.

2 DAY SAFARI: ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK (THE ARK)
Day 1: Nairobi-Aberdares
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through central Kenya highlands to the serene Aberdare Country Club, arriving just in time for lunch. After lunch, then set off for the Ark with en route game drives. The Ark is set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park. This unique game lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick that attracts a host of wildlife including elephant, rhino, leopard, bushbuck and occasionally an elusive bongo or giant forest hog. Dinner and overnight at Ark/ Equivalent.

Day 2: Aberdares-Nairobi
Transfer to Aberdare Country Club after breakfast to rejoin your driver, and thereafter, depart for Nairobi arriving in good time for lunch.

2 DAY SAFARI: MOUNT KENYA (TREE TOPS HOTEL)
Day 1: Nairobi-Serena Mountain Lodge
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the slopes of the snow-capped, Mt. Kenya. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at the Mt. Kenya Base Hotel. The afternoon will kick off with a guided forest nature walk. Dinner and overnight at the Tree Hotel/ Similar.

Day 2: Mountain Lodge-Nairobi
Depart after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving approx 1200hrs

WHITE WATER RAFTING
For the adrenaline junkies, white water rafting is available and is a one day excursion to River Tana, departing Nairobi at 08:00hrs and returning approx 18:00hrs. Alternatively, we can arrange for a 3-day excursion featuring Rivers Tana and Mathioya. These excursions are seasonal depending on the water levels. Please enquire for reservation and availability

SUPERB RHINO AT SOLIO RANCH
Day 01: Nairobi- Aberdares
Depart Nairobi after lunch at 1300 hrs and drive through the meanders of the countryside, to the Outspan Hotel in Nyeri, arriving in time for a sundowner. Dinner and overnight at the Outspan hotel.

Day 02: Solio Ranch
Early in the morning, drive to Solio Ranch. Spend the in this environmentally conscious wildlife area, home of black and white rhinoceros as well as lions, cheetahs and occasionally, the shy leopard. Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the plains, at your convenience and leisure. Later, drive leisurely to the Aberdares, arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and Overnight at the Outspan hotel.

Day 03: Aberdares-Nairobi
For the bird Lovers, take an early morning guided nature walk, or enjoy a dip in the swimming pool. Late breakfast at 09.30 hrs, and thereafter depart for Nairobi to arrive in the early afternoon.

MAASAI MARA SERENA / SAROVA LODGE
Day 01: Nairobi-Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi early morning at 0800 Hrs and drive to Masai Mara with a stopover at the escarpment view point. Drop down to the Great Rift Valley and drive on to Masai Mara, arriving at Mara Sopa lodge / Similar at 1330 Hrs for lunch. Late afternoon game drives with dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 02: Masai Mara
Full day spent at the Masai Mara. Start the day with an early morning game drive, returning to the camp at 0900 hrs for breakfast. Have a leisurely lunch at the lodge before your 1530 hours departure for the second game drive of the day. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 03: Mara-Nairobi
Early morning game drives, returning to the camp at 0900 hours for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and depart to Nairobi.

AMBOSELI SERENA / OLTUKAI LODGE
Day 01: Nairobi-Amboseli
Depart Nairobi early morning at 0700 Hrs and drive via Namanga to Amboseli National Park arriving your Amboseli lodge / Camp in time for lunch. Set off for the afternoon game drives at 1530 hours, returning to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Amboseli National Park
Full day at Amboseli. Start the day with an early morning game drive and views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro returning to the camp at 0900 hrs for breakfast. Return to the lodge for lunch, before going for another game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 03: Amboseli-Nairobi
Early morning game drive and views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro returning to the camp at 0900 hrs for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and depart the lodge for your return journey to Nairobi.

Day 01: Nairobi-Amboseli
Depart Nairobi early morning at 0700 Hrs and drive via Namanga to Amboseli National Park arriving Amboseli Serena / camp on time for lunch. After lunch rest, then proceed for the afternoon game drives at 1530 Hrs returning to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Amboseli National Reserve
Full day spent at Amboseli. Early morning game drives and views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro returning to the camp at 0900 Hrs for breakfast. Lunch at the Lodge then afternoon game drives returning to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 03: Amboseli-Tsavo West
Early morning games drive, returning to the camp at 0900 Hrs for breakfast. Later, check out and with an enroute games drive, cross over to Tsavo West via Shetani Lava flows enjoying views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Chyulu hills, and wildlife. Arrive at the Kilaguni Serena on time for lunch. Afternoon games drive, and a visit to the Mzima springs, returning to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 04: Tsavo West-Nairobi
Early morning games drive and return to the camp at 0900 Hrs for breakfast. After breakfast check out and depart to Nairobi.

SAMBURU / SWEETWATERS GAME SANCTUARY / ABERDARES NATIONAL PARK

Day 01: Nairobi-Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi early morning at 0700 Hrs and drive north to Samburu via Mt Kenya coffee growing areas and other farm lands. Pass the Equator line at Nanyuki and drop down to Isiolo, and then proceed on to Samburu Game Reserve (approx 5 hrs). Arrive in Samburu Serena lodge/Similar for lunch. Proceed for the afternoon game drives at 1530 Hrs returning to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 02: Samburu National Reserve
Full day spent at Samburu. Early morning games drive returning in time for breakfast. Lunch at the lodge and then rest till 1530 Hrs when you shall have another games drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 03: Samburu-Sweetwaters
Early morning games drive returning to the camp at 0800 Hrs for breakfast. Afterwards, proceed southwards to Nanyuki, then to Sweetwater’s Game Sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon games drive, returning to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 04: Sweetwaters-Nairobi
Early morning game drives returning to the camp at 0900 Hrs for breakfast. After breakfast check out and depart the lodge for your return journey to Nairobi.

LAKE NAKURU SAROVA LION HILL / MARA SERENA/ MARA SAROVA CAMP

Day 01: Nairobi-Lake Nakuru
Depart Nairobi at 0730 Hrs and drive up to Lake Nakuru National Park. This is a seasonal home of thousands of greater and lesser flamingos and many other birds and animals. Arrive Lake Nakuru late morning and do a couple of game viewing rounds at this famous National park before proceeding to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drives returning to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Lion hill lodge/Similar.

Day 02: Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara
Early morning games drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, check out and depart for your onward journey to Masai Mara to arrive in time for lunch at the Mara Serena/ Similar. Afternoon proceed for game drives returning to the lodge at Sunset. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 03: Masai Mara

DELAMERE CAMP, SOYSAMBU GAME SANCTUARY / MARA SAROVA CAMP

Day 01: Nairobi-Lake Elementaita
Depart Nairobi at 08.00 Hrs and drive to the Soysambu private Game Sanctuary on the shores of Lake Elementeita. Lake Elementeita is home to many bird species including the Flamingo. Arrive Lake Elementeita late morning and proceed to your camp for lunch, then afternoon escorted walks ending with sundowners on the Sugonoi Cliffs. After dinner, you go for night games viewing with the aid of spot lights. Overnight at the Delamere Camp.

Day 02: Lake Elementaita-Masai Mara
After breakfast check out and drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving by lunch time. Check in at the lodge (Mara Serena/ Similar). Afternoon games drive returning to the lodge at Sunset. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 03: Masai Mara
Full day spent at Masai Mara. Early morning games drive returning for breakfast. Lunch at the lodge then the afternoon games drive returning to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 04: Masai Mara-Nairobi
