Program Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Nairobi
After your arrival at JKIA, met and transferred to a Nairobi hostel or your desired place for resting, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Nairobi St. Barnados Children's home
After your breakfast in Nairobi, drive to St. Barnados orphanage in Nairobi. Children bravely born but they have lost their parents. After a lecture with them, continue to Nyumbani home. This is a place for people suffering from the HIV/Aids. Share a word of encouragement with them and a hope for the future. Dinner and overnight at a Nairobi hostel/similar
Day 3: Nairobi - Undugu Society - Nyumba ya Amani
After breakfast, drive to Undugu Society where the street children are rehabilitated. The Undugu society is located in Kiambu. Share a word of love with them for the whole morning. If possible, have lunch together. Later continue to Nyumba ya Amani in Ruiru a few kms from Kiambu town. Here you have a chance to meet the desperate aged people who very much appreciate any one who offers them love. Later in the evening, drive to Nairobi for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Nairobi - Thika
After breakfast, drive to Thika Town. Pay a visit to Thika School for the blind and Joy town primary school in Thika for the disabled children. There is also a new orphan's home run by the ACK church located at Kiganjo. There are few children, but we can also pay a visit to them. You will have your lunch in one of these places. Here accommodation can be at Blue Post Hotel in Thika/Similar.
Day 5: Thika - Kirinyaga
After your breakfast at Blue post Hotel, we will drive towards Kirinyaga. Here we will pay a visit to Ngata Children's Home. This is a rehabilitated home for the street Children. Dinner and overnight in Nairobi.
Day 6: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Breakfast and then depart from Nairobi, for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stop over to view the Great Rift Valley. Lunch break at Narok a small masai town, and then arrive in the Masai Mara game reserve in the late afternoon. Enjoy an evening game drive, with dinner and overnight at the camp or Lodge.
Day 7: Masai Mara
Early morning game drives. Return to the campsite or lodge in time for breakfast before proceeding for another game drive. Evening game drive will expose you to the survival of the fittest in the jungle as the predators try to make their kill before dusk, dinner and overnight at the camp or Lodge.
Day 8: Masai Mara - Nakuru
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru, noted for its millions and millions of flamingoes, which turn the lake pink, and thus, “the Pink Lake” and the rhino sanctuary. Visitors have an opportunity to view the rhino, one of the most endangered animal species in Kenya. Afternoon game drive, followed by dinner and overnight at the campsite or at the Lodge.
Day 9: Nakuru - Samburu
Leave Nakuru after breakfast for Samburu Game reserve in the northern frontier of Kenya. Evening game drive, followed by dinner and overnight at the camp or Lodge.
Day 10: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu with a lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon. The reserve is home to rare drought resistant animals that are peculiar to the semi- arid region north of the equator. These include the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, the Beisa Oryx, gerenuk and the blue-sharked Somali ostrich. Samburu is dry most of the year but the Ewaso Nyiro River, which rises in the Aberdares and drains in the Lorain Swamp north of Shaba National Reserve, waters it. Overnight and all meals at the Camp or Lodge.
Day 11: Samburu - Mt. Kenya
After breakfast leave Samburu, crossing the equator for Mt. Kenya (Nanyuki) arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, visit the Mau Mau Caves (where Kenyan Freedom Fighters could hide from the British Troops during the struggle for Independence) Dinner and overnight at the Camp or Lodge.
Day 12: Mt. Kenya - Amboseli via Nairobi
After breakfast, drive south via Karatina, the biggest open-air market in East and Central Africa. Proceed to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch in one of the restaurants. Continue to Amboseli, arriving in the late afternoon. An evening game viewing drives. Dinner and overnight at the Camp or Lodge.
Day 13: Amboseli
Morning and afternoon game drive in this park that lies in a dried-up lakebed. There are swamps and springs fed by underground rivers from the melting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which give permanent water to the wildlife. The animals seen here include Lions, Elephants, Wildebeests, Cheetahs, and Buffalos, plains game and the Rare Taita Weaver and the Gerenuks. The animals, mainly concentrated around the Ol Kenya Swamp. It is here that you will have a good sight of viewing the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which forms a beautiful backdrop to the park. The observation Hill offers a view of the entire park and beyond. Other options:

Day 14: Amboseli - Nairobi
After breakfast, depart from Amboseli with a game drive enroute for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at a Nairobi hotel for overnight.
