ZIMBABWE SAFARIS
Day 1: Masivingo, Zimbabwe
Arrive at Zimbabwe International airport to a country of tradition, culture, soul and a lot of scenic beauty. You make your way to the town of Masivingo, which lies in the outskirts of the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. Great Zimbabwe was the greatest medieval city in sub-Sahara and provides evidence that an ancient African civilization reached a very high level of civilization.

The name Zimbabwe is derived from the Shona word meaning great stone houses. The grand setting and history soaked walls certainly qualify as one of the highlights of your trip. You will have the time to wander around this ancient wonderland after checking in at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel.
Day 2: Masivingo - Gweru, Zimbabwe
Once you have finished exploring this historic area you continue your journey to Gweru, situated in the Zimbabwe Midlands. Here you stop over at The Antelope Park. People say you have not been to Zimbabwe until you have visited the Victoria Falls and The Antelope Park.

Here you have the opportunity to partake in an incredible experience unique to The Antelope Park - 'Walking with the Lions'. In addition to the Lions there is an abundance of other wildlife species in the park such as Elephants, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest and over 150 bird species. Overnight at the Midlands hotels/ Equivalent.
Day 3: Gweru - The Antelope Park, Zimbabwe
Today is spent as leisure with a variety of activities to enthrall you. From walking with Lions, Elephant riding, swimming on the majestic Elephant, to trying your hand at fishing the list is endless. Overnight at the Midlands hotels/ Equivalent.
Day 4: Gweru - Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
Bulawayo is the second largest city in Zimbabwe with a laid back atmosphere. It is noted for the exceptionally wide streets, which were originally designed to allow space for a full span ox wagon. The city is still characterized by the many old British colonial buildings, maintained by the Bulawayo City Council as heritage sites.

There are a number of interesting places to visit in Bulawayo such as The Natural History Museum, the National Arts Gallery and the Mzilikazi Arts and Crafts Centre, providing work for over 70 people. Accommodation at the Selborne hotel/Equivalent.
Day 5: Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
Today you take in Matobo National Park. The park is one of the last strongholds of both Black and White Rhino, and the region is renowned for its high concentration of Leopard and Black Eagle. There are numerous caves and rock paintings which once again is evidence of the ancient San inhabitants of this area.

Cecil Rhodes (after whom Rhodesia was named) is buried here at his own request, but there is some controversy over whether he will stay! You will spend time game driving through the park giving you an insight into the unique geological, ecological and historical environment. Accommodation at the Selborne hotel/Equivalent.
Day 6: Bulawayo - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Heading north you make your way to the mighty Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. Victoria Falls is one of the memorable sights on your African safari. Spend the night at the Victoria Falls Hotels/Equivalent.
Day 7: Victoria Falls
Your final day on safari allows you the opportunity to partake in the adrenalin rush that Victoria Falls is renowned for…or just relax and take in what is one of the true natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls.

There are many activities available all year round such as, flights can be taken which gives you a panoramic view of the Falls, Batoka Gorge and the islands above the falls. Back on the ground, the Falls can be seen from the Victoria Falls Park with its many viewing points, or from the Zambian side. All offer fantastic photographic opportunities.
White water rafting in the Batoka Gorge is considered to be world class. Besides the excitement of the grade 5 rapids, there are 'floats' where there is time to admire the scenic cliffs and occasional wildlife on the riverbanks.

Bungee jumping enthusiasts can take the plunge from the Zambezi Bridge, which connects Zambia and Zimbabwe. The leap into the Batoka Gorge is certainly not for the faint-hearted.
Other optional activities around Victoria Falls include day trips into the Zambezi National Park, horse riding safaris, a visit to the Crocodile Ranch, Snake Park, golf at Elephant Hills Hotel, parachuting, the Falls Craft Village and the Sunset Cruise.

Allow yourself a few days after your safari if you wish to partake in some of the many activities. Breakfast is included. Spend the night at the Victoria Falls Hotels/Equivalent.

3 DAYS HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Day 1: Victoria Falls - Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
Depart from Victoria Falls at 9:30am to begin your African safari tour. Your journey takes you through Teak and Mopane Forests, local villages and Hwange Town, famous for its coal mining. You will enter Hwange National Park through Main camp and depending on the time of year and location of the animals.
An afternoon game drive follows setting camp. Hwange is Zimbabwe's oldest and biggest national park, home to 400 bird species and 107 species of game including the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino). Accommodation at a camp site or The Hide Hotel/Equivalent.

Day 2: Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
Today your Zimbabwe safari tour starts with an early morning game drive. Hwange has a diverse landscape from open grassland to Kalahari sand in the Southern area of the Park to more hilly heavily wooded area in the northern area of the Park.

Your day will be spend game driving throughout the Park stopping at the many manmade pump pans where game concentrate to slack their thirst. Some pans have viewing platforms were you can stretch your legs and enjoy viewing the game at your leisure. Your second night of your African safari tour will be spent in the northern area of the park named Sinamatella. Accommodation at a camp site or The Hide Hotel/Equivalent.

Day 3: Hwange National Park - Victoria Falls
Sinamatella Camp sits atop a cliff overlooking an open Vlei area, an ideal area to view game while on your African safari tour. The area has both Black and White Rhino; your morning game drive will concentrate on trying to find these elusive animals.

The area also has good concentrations of game. After your game drive you will make your way back to Victoria Falls arriving back mid-afternoon. Accommodation at a camp site or The Hide Hotel/Equivalent. .

9 DAY ZIMBABWE SAFARI
Day 1 – 2: Victoria Falls, Matetsi Game Reserve
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, met and transferred to Matetsi Game Reserve for your two night stay.

Day 3: Mana Pools National Park , Chikwenya Camp
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Kariba where you transfer to a charter aircraft and fly to the Mana Pools National Park for your overnight stay at Chikwenya Camp.

Day 4 – 6: Canoes Safari Begins
Today begins one of Africa’s greatest adventures - Nature ways Canoe Safari.

Day 7 – 8: Victoria Falls , Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Your guide will transfer you to a charter flight to Kariba in time for your return flight to Victoria Falls where you will be met and transferred to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for your 2 night stay. Among the activities to undertaken: - White Water Rafting- Victoria falls, Victoria Falls Canoe Safaris, Victoria Falls Horse Trails, Elephant Back Safaris - Victoria Falls, Flights over Victoria falls, Zambezi Cruises - Victoria Falls, Other Activities available from Victoria Falls are Bungee Jumping, abseiling, Zambezi jet boats, game drives, cultural tours, chobe national park day trips.

Day 9: Safari ends
Your safari ends with a transfer to Victoria Falls Airport.

11 DAY SAFARI
Day 1: arrival Harare, Meikles Hotel
On arrival at Harare Airport, met and transferred to Meikles Hotel for your overnight.

Day 2 - 5: Mana Pools National Park, Chikwenya Camp
After a morning transfer to the airport for your flight by charter aircraft, you will reach the Mana Pools National Park in time for lunch. Enjoy 3 nights of guided game viewing from Chikwenya or Ruckomechi Camp

Day 5 – 8: Hwange National Park, Wilderness Lodge
After a morning game activity, transfer to the airstrip for your charter flight over Lake Kariba, one of the world's largest manmade lakes, to Hwange National Park. Here you will spend three nights’ game viewing and taking guided game walks from your luxury base at either Makalolo or Linkwasha

Day 8 – 10: Victoria Falls, Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
Your guide will transfer you to a charter flight to Victoria Falls, met and transferred to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for your 3 nights stay. Here you have the opportunity to take part in all the river-based adventures of the region. These are left as optional extras so that you may choose to be as active or as relaxed as you wish.
Day 11: Depart Victoria Falls
Your safari ends with a transfer to Victoria Falls Airport.
