Kenya Beach Extention safari

KENYA SAFARI WITH A MOMBASA BEACH EXTENTION
OPTION 1:
Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, met and transferred to Nairobi Safari club / Norfolk hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi - Aberdares
Breakfast and leave for Aberdares arriving in time for lunch at the Outspan Hotel, which is the base Hotel for Treetops. After Lunch transfer to the Treetops for an unlimited all night long game viewing, as they water at the designated water holes and salt licks. Your honeymoon will not be complete without a visit to this romantic facility. Enjoy a floodlit animal spectacle after dinner as the animals come to the waterholes, either to drink or lick salt under the floodlights, environment with dinner and overnight at Treetops.

Day 3: Aberdares - Sweetwater’s
Breakfast and proceed to Nanyuki in time for lunch at Sweetwater's luxury camp. Accommodation is in luxurious tents, set under thatch, with en-suite facilities and private verandah. Each tent overlooks the waterhole. Within the quaint, original farmhouse is the dining room, bar and reception with its superb accommodation, personal service, first class cuisine and outstanding array of activities. Options include night game drives by four-wheel-drive vehicles, walking safaris escorted by a knowledgeable ranger, bird walks, camel safaris and outdoor dining ensure there is always plenty to do. Sweet waters Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Sweetwater’s - Nairobi
Breakfast and transfer to Nairobi in time for lunch at any of the many Nairobi restaurants, which will be on your own arrangements. After lunch, transfer to Nairobi Norfolk Hotel. Afternoon at leisure or can opt to go shopping in Nairobi city, with Overnight at the Nairobi Norfolk Hotel.

Day 5: Nairobi –Amboseli
leave Nairobi and drive south through Masai country via Namanga on the Tanzania border and onto Amboseli ( Picnic Lunch served en-route) on arrival, settle in the camp and time permitting proceed for a short game drive which provides chance to see rhino, lion, giraffe, elephants and many other animals with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain providing beautiful backdrop. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 6: Full Day Amboseli
Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Amboseli-Tsavo West
Drive to Tsavo West National Park and arrive at Voyager Safari Camp in time for lunch. Afterwards, an afternoon game drive may be rewarded with sightings of the great elephant herds, lesser kudu, lion or cheetah. What a place to be, sleep besides hippos and the nearby bush the roaring of prides of lions in agreement of the wedding vows in the African Jungle- A paradise in Tsavo with dinner and overnight at Voyager Safari Camp.

Day 8: Tsavo West -Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Breakfast and proceed to Taita Hill’s sanctuary in time for lunch at Salt lick lodge. Sleep in a lodge built in the stilts as you watch the regular ambush by the predator at the floodlit salt licking/watering hole. Early morning bird watching, and take an overview of the animals from the balloon basket. Optional Morning Balloon Safari. Overnight at the Salt Lick Camp/Similar

Day 9: Tsavo West
Have Breakfast and have a full day game drive and get to see various species at the park.
Overnight at Serena Kilanguni.

Day 10: Taita Hills - Mombasa

Check-out from the hotel after breakfast to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi in time to catch your outbound flight.

Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive Nairobi, met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to Nairobi Serena Hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi
After breakfast have a full day city tour to; the Mamba Village, Nairobi Museum, Giraffe center, Nairobi Safari Walk and the Karen Blixen. Spend the night at Nairobi.
Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel

Day 3: Nairobi-Samburu
Depart to Samburu after breakfast to arrive at Sweetwater’s Tentend Camp for lunch. Where you will get to see chimpanzees and a rhino sanctuary at the camp.
Proceed to Samburu and have an en-route game drive and arrive at Samburu Serena where you will spend the night.

Day 4&5: Samburu
Two days in Samburu National Reserve with game drives.
This reserve offers unique vistas of rounded, rugged hills and undulating plains. The mix of wood and grassland with riverine forest and swamp home to a wide variety of animal and birdlife, Buffalo Springs records over 365 species of bird. Game viewing and visibility is excellent: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, elephant, oryx, Somali Ostrich, hippo, crocodile, gerenuk, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena.
Optional activity includes a visit to a Samburu Manyatta.
Overnights at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Samburu-Nakuru
Early morning departure to Lake Nakuru by road arriving at the lodge for lunch.
The Park provides visitors with one of Kenya’s best known images. Thousands of flamingo, joined into a massive flock, fringe the shores of this soda lake. A pulsing pink swathe of life that carpets the water, the flamingo is a breathtaking sight.
Afternoon game drive.
Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 7: Nakuru-Nairobi
After breakfast, have an en-route game drive while proceeding to Nairobi and have lunch at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Optional the Mamba Village, Nairobi Museum, Giraffe center, Nairobi Safari Walk and the Karen Blixen. Spend the night at Nairobi Serena Hotel.


Day 8: Nairobi-Malindi
Check-out from Serena Nairobi and proceed to Malindi in time for lunch at the Turtle bay Resort in where you will spend the night.

Day 9: Malindi
Spend your day relaxing, combing the miles of pristine beaches, windsurfing, snorkeling, creek fishing or take a boat trip to explore the beaches. Dinner and overnight at Turtle bay resort.

Day 10: Malindi-Lamu
Check-out after breakfast to the airport for a departure flight to Lamu.
Dinner and overnight at Voyager Kipungani Resort.

Day 11: Lamu
Spend the day relaxing around the hotel enjoying the various facilities.
Optional visits to Marine Park, Jumbo la mutwa, Fort Jesus and the Mamba village.

Day 12: Nairobi
After breakfast depart for Nairobi for your out bound flight back home.

OPTION 3:
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Depart from Nairobi city to the spectacular Maasai Mara with a stopover at the viewpoint to have a panoramic view of the gorgeous sceneries weather permitting and a stopover at Narok town for lunch. Meet the pastoralist Maasai herding their cattle and have a game drive en route, in this land of breath taking where everything is big including the big five arriving Mara Serena Lodge for an overnight

Day 2&3: Masai Mara
Spend the days at game drive at the Masai Mara National Reserve is the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views (seen in the film ‘Out of Africa’, much of which was filmed here) an extraordinary density of animals including the “Big Five” and many varieties of plains game. Afternoon game drive. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/Equivalent.

Day 4: Masai Mara-Nakuru
Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. Have an afternoon game drive and also get to see the largest population of lesser and Greater Flamingoes and the pelicans at the Lake which attract visitors all over the world. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.,

Day 5: Nakuru-Hell's Gate
After early breakfast, proceed to Hells gate national park, the only park you can walk on foot with zebras, antelopes, giraffe’s and other plain games at close distance. Visit the only Olkaria geothermal power plant in the country. A walk to the nearby gorge, so terrifying, will offer an explanation why this park carries the name “Hells gate”. Bush picnic lunch served before returning to the Lake Nakuru Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Nakuru-Nairobi
Have a morning game drive and later return to the lodge for breakfast and a check-out.
Arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch at the Nairobi Serena/Equivalent where you will spend the night.

An early morning game drive returning to the campsite for a breakfast and later departs for Nairobi arriving late in the evening.

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK 3 Days/2 Nights
Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli

LAKE NAIVASHA 3 Days/2 Nights
Day 1: Nairobi - Naivasha
Depart Nairobi for the drive to Lake Naivasha via the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Lunch served at the Fisherman’s camp. Treat yourself by joining Nature trail, boat safaris, visit the flower farms or take a horseback riding. Dinner served around bonfire and fun games. Overnight fisherman’s camp/Similar.

Day 2: Hell's Gate
After early breakfast, proceed to Hells gate national park, the only park you can walk on foot with zebras, antelopes, giraffe’s and other plain games at close distance. After breakfast, drive to Crater Lake which offers an evocative step back in time - to a bygone era of elegance and romance, in a wilderness untouched by the modern world with a private game sanctuary at a homely environment. Crater Lake offers classic escapes including painting, astrology, as well as ornithological outings to what must be one of the most beautiful small lakes in creation. Later return to the camp for lunch before departing for Nairobi.

SAMBURU-NAKURU 5 Days/5 Nights
Day 1: Nairobi - Sweetwater’s

Drive to Tsavo east national park which has a diverse landscape and wild animal viewing are the main attraction. . Bird watching, hiking and whitewater rafting are the main activities one can undertake. Being on the bird migratory route, bird watching is particularly ideal during Oct to January when migratory birds from Eastern and Western Europe visit the park. Spend the night at the camp site/Galdessa safari camp/similar.

Day 2: Tsavo East -Tsavo West
Drive to Tsavo West National Park and arrive at Voyager Safari Camp in time for lunch. Day 4: Masai Mara
Spend the day tracking the Lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos and many species of antelopes. Meals and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi; with a game drive en-route, to arrive in time for lunch. Transfer to Jacaranda hotel for Lunch with the rest of the day spent at leisure. Day 6: Amboseli
This morning drive across the Athi Plains to Amboseli National Park. Welcome dance from the Masai awaits us upon arrival. Afternoon game drive in search of the elephants, lions, cheetahs and giraffes with the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro at our vicinity. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge/Equivalent.

Day 7: Amboseli
Full day with morning and afternoon game drives at Amboseli. Meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 8: Arusha
Drive to the Namanga border and after passing immigration formalities; we proceed to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch. Meals and overnight at Impala or equivalent.

Day 9: Lake Manyara
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park known for its tree climbing lions and troops of Baboons. This is also a perfect spot for bird lovers. We enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or equivalent.

Day 10: Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge, this is the "berth of humanity' where the remains of prehistoric mankind were unearthed .Arrive at Serengeti Serena in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 11: Serengeti
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drives in this park that adjoins the Mara ecosystem in Kenya. Afternoon game drives you marvel on the immensity of the hoofed animals as well as predators in this park; with all meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 12: Ngorongoro
After breakfast, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure; with dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 13: Ngorongoro Crater
After Breakfast, descend the crater for an extraordinary safari at the bottom of the collapsed volcanoes. Often compared to Noah's Ark, enjoy our picnic lunch, thereafter an afternoon game drive. We have thousands of flamingoes that wade in the shallows of Lake Magadi, creating a shimmering pink haze. Drive back for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 14: Arusha - Nairobi
After breakfast, we depart for Arusha to arrive in time for lunch. with an optional farewell dinner at an extra cost. Transfer to the airport for the flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi Wilson airport, met and transferred to the International airport for your flight home.


OPTION 2
Day 1: Nairobi-Naivasha
Depart Nairobi for the drive to Lake Naivasha via the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Lunch served at the Fisherman’s camp. Treat yourself by joining Nature trail, boat safaris, visit the flower farms or take a horseback riding. Dinner served around bonfire and fun games. Overnight fisherman’s camp/Similar.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara.
Breakfast at the Lodge, then travel across the bottom of the rift escarpment and head southeast, passing dormant volcano- Longonot on your right. You'll then turn right at Mai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment. Then heading due south, you travel towards Narok, gateway to the Maasai Mara and district headquarters of this part of Maasai land. You'll travel across the "breadbasket" of Kenya, covered with acres of wheat and barley before you reach your destination, Mara Sarova Camp, by lunchtime. Located within the boundaries of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, this comfortable luxury lodge offers delicious meals and a swimming pool, and makes a perfect base from which to explore the wonders of this corner of Kenya. Lunch and dinner will be served at the camp. Afternoon games drive in the reserve. Overnight: Sarova Mara Camp.

Day 3-4: Masai Mara National Reserve.
Enjoy full days in the Mara, with early morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here, particularly when the migration is on, and millions of wildebeests and zebras make their way back and forth across the Mara River on their annual trek. The Mara is also noted for its abundance of lions - particularly the superb black manned males. You'll see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as - if you're lucky - leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film and enjoy yourselves! On one of the e s e two days, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai Village. All meals will be served at the camp. Overnight: Sarova Mara Camp.

Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi.
After breakfast, depart Maasai Mara, and back to Narok, district headquarters of this part of Maasai land and then travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley - keep an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle - and head up the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. You will arrive in Kenya’s bustling capital city in the late morning. Lunch will be on own arrangement, with the afternoon at leisure. Dinner will be served at the Carnivore Restaurant. The Carnivore Restaurant is famous for its succulent steaks and barbecue dishes as an excellent complement to a holiday in Kenya '. Overnight and dinner at the Sarova Stanley.

Day 7: Nairobi-Arusha
Drive to the Namanga border and after passing immigration formalities; we proceed to Arusha to arrive in time for lunch. Meals and overnight at Impala or equivalent.

Day 8: Arusha
Pick up from the Hotel in Arusha and drive to Arusha National Park .Morning games drive in Arusha Park with Lunch at Momella Wildlife Lodge. In the afternoon; another game drive still in Arusha Park, then return to Arusha and drop off at the Impala Hotel/Equivalent.

Day 9: Arusha - Ngorongoro.
After Lunch, there after proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight will be served at the Lodge Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater.
Breakfast served at the Lodge. This morning you descend 2000 feet to the crater floor for a full day game viewing. This l00 square mile natural amphitheatre is host to an astonishing array of wildlife and you are almost assured of seeing rhino, elephant and lion, as well as large herds of Zebra and wildebeest. You will enjoy a picnic Lunch at the crater floor. After the daylong tour, return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight. Overnight: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 11: Ngorongoro - Tarangire.
Breakfast served at the Lodge, then drive to Tarangire National Park. The park, originally a popular hunting area before the National Park opened in l970. It is regarded as one of the best wildlife areas remaining in East Africa. Principal features of the Park include, the lake swamps, rivers and rock outcrops. There are several hills in the area and Tarangire Hill itself is centrally situated. There are nine different vegetation zones in the Park that attract a variety of wildlife. There is a most impressive Baobab forest in the Park. Tarangire is also famous for its wide variety of birds and the tree-climbing pythons are an unusual sight in any African park. All meals at the Lodge, with overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Tarangire-Arusha.
After breakfast, have an en-route game drive to Arusha from the Tarangire Sopa Lodge, to arrive in time for an early Lunch. Overnight at Impala Hotel.

Day 10: Nairobi

Day 1: Nairobi-The Ark Lodge
You will be received on arrival in Nairobi and depart for the Ark, which is the heart of the Aberdare National Park. Day 2: Samburu
After breakfast depart for Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive for lunch at the Lodge, built on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. This reserve is home to some very rare and unusual species such as the beisa oryx (which has been known to be found only north of the equator), gerenuk, and the reticulated giraffe. Day 3: Samburu
Spend the day exploring the reserve and its varied species of game. All meals and overnight at Samburu Serena/Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast to Lake Nakuru National park a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a considerable number of animals to be encountered, among them zebras, elephants and gazelles. This is one of your best chances of seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first place in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the few places where you can see Rothschild's giraffes. Spend the night at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara
After Breakfast check-out from the Lake Nakuru Lodge to the world most famous game reserve. Arrive on time for lunch at the Mara Serena Lodge where you will spend the night. Have an afternoon game drive.

Day 6: Masai Mara
Full day to one of the world's most famous wildlife reserves. From July to September, it provides one of nature's most dramatic sights, the annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle from the Serengeti in the south and across the Mara River into Masai Mara. Following their footsteps are Africa's predators; lions, leopards, cheetah and hyenas. Full day spent enjoying the day’s findings and an overnight at the Mara Sopa/Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 7: Masai Mara- Nairobi
After breakfast, leave lodge for the last game drive and return journey to Nairobi. Picnic lunch en-route and arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon or early evening. Overnight at Jacaranda hotel/equivalent.

Day 8: Nairobi-Arusha – Lake Manyara
Depart to the border town of Namanga where you will clear customs and immigration formalities. Proceed in Tanzania to Arusha. On arrival to Arusha, you will be transferred to Mt. Village Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will be driven to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. This is the only place on the continent where you can hear the Bantu, Cushitic, and Nilotic languages spoken in the same area.

Day 9: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you will have a game drive in Lake Manyara Park. After lunch at the lodge, you will be driven to the great Serengeti where you will spend the night at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 10: Serengeti
Full day of game viewing. Magnificent experiences and views awaits you as you travel to the famous wildlife park, the legendary Serengeti. Here you might have the chance to see "the migration," where thousands of zebras and wildebeests make the trip from the Masai Mara every year. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 11: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, leave the lodge and head for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a game drive en-route. You will have an excursion to Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis Leakey's discovery of early man. You will have a picnic lunch and in the afternoon proceed to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast overlooking the spectacular crater. Then head down the steep escarpments to the floor of the crater for an all-day game drive. You will have a picnic so that you can see as much of the 12-mile amphitheater and as much wildlife as possible. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for relaxed moments before dinner.

Day 13: Arusha –Nairobi
After breakfast, drive to Arusha. On arrival, you will lunch at Mt. Village Lodge. In the afternoon, board shuttle bus to Nairobi arriving at late afternoon. (Time will be adjusted according to flight schedule)

Day 1: Masivingo, Zimbabwe
Arrive at Zimbabwe International airport to a country of tradition, culture, soul and a lot of scenic beauty. You make your way to the town of Masivingo, which lies in the outskirts of the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. Great Zimbabwe was the greatest medieval city in sub-Sahara and provides evidence that an ancient African civilization reached a very high level of civilization.

The name Zimbabwe is derived from the Shona word meaning great stone houses. The grand setting and history soaked walls certainly qualify as one of the highlights of your trip. You will have the time to wander around this ancient wonderland after checking in at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel.
Day 2: Masivingo - Gweru, Zimbabwe
Once you have finished exploring this historic area you continue your journey to Gweru, situated in the Zimbabwe Midlands. Here you stop over at The Antelope Park. People say you have not been to Zimbabwe until you have visited the Victoria Falls and The Antelope Park.

Here you have the opportunity to partake in an incredible experience unique to The Antelope Park - 'Walking with the Lions'. Day 4: Gweru - Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
Bulawayo is the second largest city in Zimbabwe with a laid back atmosphere. It is noted for the exceptionally wide streets, which were originally designed to allow space for a full span ox wagon. The city is still characterized by the many old British colonial buildings, maintained by the Bulawayo City Council as heritage sites.

There are a number of interesting places to visit in Bulawayo such as The Natural History Museum, the National Arts Gallery and the Mzilikazi Arts and Crafts Centre, providing work for over 70 people. Accommodation at the Selborne hotel/Equivalent.
Day 5: Bulawayo, Zimbabwe
Today you take in Matobo National Park. The park is one of the last strongholds of both Black and White Rhino, and the region is renowned for its high concentration of Leopard and Black Eagle. There are numerous caves and rock paintings which once again is evidence of the ancient San inhabitants of this area.

Cecil Rhodes (after whom Rhodesia was named) is buried here at his own request, but there is some controversy over whether he will stay! Day 6: Bulawayo - Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Day 7: Victoria Falls
Your final day on safari allows you the opportunity to partake in the adrenalin rush that Victoria Falls is renowned for…or just relax and take in what is one of the true natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls.

There are many activities available all year round such as, flights can be taken which gives you a panoramic view of the Falls, Batoka Gorge and the islands above the falls. Back on the ground, the Falls can be seen from the Victoria Falls Park with its many viewing points, or from the Zambian side. All offer fantastic photographic opportunities.
White water rafting in the Batoka Gorge is considered to be world class. Besides the excitement of the grade 5 rapids, there are 'floats' where there is time to admire the scenic cliffs and occasional wildlife on the riverbanks.

Bungee jumping enthusiasts can take the plunge from the Zambezi Bridge, which connects Zambia and Zimbabwe. The leap into the Batoka Gorge is certainly not for the faint-hearted.

Depart from Victoria Falls at 9:30am to begin your African safari tour. Your journey takes you through Teak and Mopane Forests, local villages and Hwange Town, famous for its coal mining. You will enter Hwange National Park through Main camp and depending on the time of year and location of the animals.

Day 2: Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
Today your Zimbabwe safari tour starts with an early morning game drive. Hwange has a diverse landscape from open grassland to Kalahari sand in the Southern area of the Park to more hilly heavily wooded area in the northern area of the Park.

Your day will be spend game driving throughout the Park stopping at the many manmade pump pans where game concentrate to slack their thirst. Day 4: Gorilla Tracking.
Go gorilla tracking in Park National des Volcans. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest of the Virunga is a wonderful experience. If you are lucky you can get to see the gorillas, spend time with the gorillas (takes about I hour), and be back at the lodge in time for a late lunch! Some gorilla families however are more elusive, and tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy. Overnight and dinner at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge (FB).

Day 5: Golden Monkeys
Visit the golden monkeys or drive to Gisenyi, visit Ross Carr's orphanage and Lake Kivu or climb the Visoke/Muhavura volcanoes, or trek to Dian Fossey's grave, or visit the local school, community projects or walk to Lake Bulera. Overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge (FB).

Day 7: Drive to Nyungwe.

Day 3: Amboseli
Full day in the Amboseli National Park with game drives. This park is famous for its big game - elephants, lions and cheetahs are the main attractions - and for its great scenery beauty. Amboseli embodies five main wildlife habitats, plus a generally dry lake-bed - Lake Amboseli. These are open plains; extensive stands of yellow-barked acacia woodland; rocky, lava strewn thorn-bush country; swamps and marshes; and at the western end of the reserve, above Namanga, the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok rising to over 2,760m (8.300ft) and still for the most part zoologically unexplored.
The landscape is dominated by the glistening majestic snowcap of Mount Kilimanjaro immediately to the south.

Day 4: Amboseli-Nairobi

Full day game drive where you will also get to see other mammals frequently seen in the park include Gerenuk, Grant's Gazelle, Kirk's Dik-dik, Impala, Waterbuck, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx and Reticulated Giraffe. Rhinos are no longer present in the park due to heavy poaching.
There are over 350 species of bird. These include Somali Ostrich, Kingfisher, Sunbird, Bee-eater, Marabou Stork, Tawny Eagle, Bateleur, Guinea fowl and Vultures. Overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Samburu –Nakuru

Day 6: Nakuru-Hell's Gate
After early breakfast, proceed to Hells gate national park, the only park you can walk on foot with zebras, antelopes, giraffe’s and other plain games at close distance. Visit the only Olkaria geothermal power plant in the country. A walk to the nearby gorge, so terrifying, will offer an explanation why this park carries the name “Hells gate”. Bush picnic lunch served before returning to the Fisherman’s camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Nakuru - Masai Mara
Proceed to the spectacular Maasai Mara with a stopover at the viewpoint to have a panoramic view of the gorgeous sceneries weather permitting and a stopover at Narok town for lunch. Meet the pastoralist Maasai herding their cattle and have a game drive en route, in this land of breath taking where everything is big including the big five arriving in Mara Simba Lodge in the evening.

Day 8: Masai Mara

Bird watching, hiking and whitewater rafting are the main activities one can undertake. Spend the night at Voi safari Lodge/similar.

Day 5: Tsavo East
Spend the day at the park and visit to the Galana River where most of the activities are concentrated with its picturesque Lugard Falls. Spend the night at Voi Safari Lodge.

Day 6: Tsavo East -Tsavo West
Drive to Tsavo West National Park and arrive at Voyager Safari Camp in time for lunch. Afterwards, an afternoon game drive may be rewarded with sightings of the great elephant herds, lesser kudu, lion or cheetah. Day 4: White Desert & Black Desert

Then move on to Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales); a site rich in fossils, especially of marine creatures, and is known for its fiery red sunsets. Camping and overnight at Wadi Hitan.

Day 3: Bahariya Oasis / English House
Drive to Baharyia Oasis to enjoy a tour around the old village and contemplate the groves of palms and fruit trees. Then, move to the ruin on a hill, "the English House" at sunset and enjoy the panoramic view. In the evening, visit the village and shops.

Day 4: White & Black Desert

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Cairo, then move to enjoy an excursion to the Giza pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. Proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, with the head of a pharaoh and a lion's body that dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. After that visit the Egyptian Museum where you can see the great pharaonic treasures including those of Tutankhamen. Transfer to Giza train station taking the sleeper train to Aswan.

Day 3: Aswan / Nubian bazaar
Upon arrival at Aswan, transfer to hotel where you can relax for a while before heading out to explore the Nubian bazaar - a long and colorful street that snakes through the centre of town.

Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing

Day 5: Kom Ombo & Edfu
Breakfast on board the cruise then Sail to Kom Ombo to visit Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Have lunch on board then, sail to Edfu to visit Hours temple in Edfu. Have Afternoon Tea during sailing to Esna. Dinner on board and overnight in Esna on your Nile Cruise Ship.

Day 6: Luxor East Bank
Breakfast on board your Nile cruise ship then Sail to Luxor with lunch on board the vessel then you will be accompanied for a wonderful tour to visit East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to the Karnak and Luxor temples. You will be transferred back to the Nile cruise ship for afternoon tea and dinner on board with overnight aboard the Nile cruise vessel in Luxor.

Day 7: Luxor Sightseeing
We rise early to cross the Nile, where our donkeys are waiting to take us into the Kings. After matching up the donkeys to our riders we head off, just as the sun begins to rise in the eastern skies. It’s a great experience and is sure to be one of the highlights of your visit to Egypt. We return to the east bank, where we meet our Bedouin crew, and after loading our gear we set off in 4WD vehicles to Baris to spend our first night camping under the stars.

Day 8: Kharga & Dakhla
After breakfast, drive to Al Kharga, the largest of the oasis towns and a sizeable producer not only of dates but also cereals and vegetables. Just outside town are the remains of the Temple of Hibis, built by Darius I during the Roman period. There is time to visit the temple, as well as the Christian burial ground at Al Bagawat, dating to the end of the 7th century. We drive on, to Dakhla, where we spend the night at an Oasis style hut with reed huts, communal showers and basic facilities.

Day 9: Dakhla Oasis
After breakfast, head off to the fabulous medieval mud-brick town of Al Qasr, exploring the timeless streets, seeing the old school, an ancient olive press and the granary. We also visit the excellent little Ethnological Museum, a locally-sponsored project which we support through our visits. There is also a hot spring nearby which makes a great rest stop either on the way out or when we return. We return for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing while we wait for the heat of the day to pass. In the late afternoon we set off on camels, riding through a desolate windswept landscape to the base of a Great escarpment, where we spend the night under the stars (about 20 km).
Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Farafra & White Desert
North of Dakhla is Farafra Oasis where we have time to visit the Museum and enjoy a swim in another of the many natural sculpture springs. A little further on we enter the White Desert, a spectacular region of wind-eroded limestone formations. The continual erosion has left a layer of fine white dust on the desert sands, hence the name ‘white desert’. We enjoy a sunset walk in this surreal landscape and spend the night camping under the stars. Note it can be very cold in the winter months (Oct-Mar) so make sure you are well rugged up if you are travelling at this time.

Day 11: Back to Cairo
Bahariya is the most northerly of the Western Desert oasis towns and we stop here for a break on our way back to Cairo, which we expect to reach in the late afternoon. On arrival we farewell our Bedouin friends and after time to freshen up we can enjoy a final night out together.

Day 12: Final Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.

CAIRO TWO DAY TOURS FROM PORT SAID
Day 01: Pyramids Tour
Memphis Tours Representative will pick you up from Port Said Port by the cruise exit door. After that you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo. Pay a visit to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, which dates back to the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramid of Chephren.

Move to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world's oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then proceed to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 02: Egyptian Museum / Salah Din Citadel
Breakfast in a hotel have an excursion to the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which are considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian artifacts in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold and jewelry which were enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before its discovery in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.
